In terms of price/quality, this is without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I had lunch during the week and paid 11 for: bull steak (which was worth more than 11), half a litre of wine, dessert and coffee. The food was incredible! I'd never tried this meat before and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

What can I say was amazing from start to finish! The staff were very friendly and made you feel like their family. Phil is the greatest! Food fantastic! Fresh fish delicious. Not a thing bad. Would highly recommend going if you are in Ferragudo! Thanks to everybody for 2 great dinner including Fado nite. Till next time!

One of these days I went to Restaurante O BarrilRestaurante O Barril is located in Rondulha between Arruda dos Vinhos and Vila Franca, it is a Tasca with a capital T...A family atmosphere, all the staff are extremely friendly.The specialty is Bife de Toiro Bravo, which can be prepared Portuguese style, with cheese, cream and mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc., etc.... It is definitely worth trying, the meat is tasty and of good quality. I had it with cream and mushrooms.For those who don't like Toiro, there is grilled fish, or as I show here, a tender and succulent Pork Loin à Lagareiro.The Manager Catarina, the daughter of the Owners, is extremely friendly.And then good wine, good dessert and a price that is no longer acceptable...10 Euros for the whole meal...What are the words for, it's all 5 stars.... sometimes we look for quality, friendliness, and good price.... and we find all of this at Barril.I recommend it and will return....The Ginginha at the end was great.To see this and other restaurants I try, visit my FB page Rui Santos - Portugal em personalizado.

We always go there for the wild bull meat.Reserve your table in advance. The desserts are very good as well.
